McCall Farms acquired a canning facility under the Lord Chesterfield brand in 1954 and began canning vegetables 10 weeks of the year. Over the years, canning production increased tremendously and more products were introduced, such as boiled peanuts and southern fruits. New production lines were added in 1996 to keep up with ever-growing sales demand, and capacity doubled in 2015. Today, the canning facility is maintained by roughly 800 employees.

In 2006, McCall Farms added a frozen manufacturing facility, providing the ability to service customers with a wide variety of frozen products. The freezer facility is maintained by roughly 125 employees.
